It was one of Portland gorgeous overcast days, soft light filtered through the trees as we made our way into the green recesses of Camp Colton. Overshadowed by giant Fir and Cedar trees, Kendi and Derek vowed their life and love on May 10 surrounded by much beloved family and friends.
You can see Kendi’s touches in every aspect of her wedding, from the mossy wood rounds at the alter to the mini terrarium favors that each guest brought home. Who doesn’t want to go to a wedding where the kids get target practice with nerf guns on inflatable animals?? Such a hilarious and brilliant idea coming from this creative duo.
It was such a privilege to capture this wedding and to celebrate alongside two people who love each other so much. To see these two tight-knit families come together is truly such a beautiful story.
