You know you have a truly special couple when they sweep “The Price is Right”. I was a bit shocked over that…golly gee whiz.
From the moment I met them in the middle of Carlene Will’s (see the Wills weddings here) garden party I liked them. Brianna’s red dress was so fabulous I wanted to steal it and Ryan’s tie was perfect. But aside from their impeccable wardrobe they really do have such great personalities. I laughed so hard I couldn’t get the details of my collections out. Embarassing but fun.
Ryan is half-way through med school in Cali and I have not the slightest doubt will make an excellent pediatrician. (Ryan come please move up to Oregon for my future babies!) Brianna, a perfect match, is an active nurse and balances out his orneryness with her bubbly laugh and beautiful eyes. When they are together, you’re just swept into the smiles, I swear they’re contagious.
After their paint-war engagement session I was so stoked for their wedding. Aside from a stunning location that looked straight out of England, I was delighted with the details. You can see Brianna’s handiwork everywhere you turn. From the hanging crystal canopy to the Bureau of Standards Big Band kicking out the dance tunes. Amazing night.
I will remember the way Ryan’s eyes overflowed as Brianna walked down the aisle, the way her Dad gave her one last kiss as he gave her away, the tearful toasts and the abundant laughter. Thank you Ryan and Brianna for including me on this once-in-a-lifetime event.
