First Presbyterian Church in Tacoma Washington is a beautiful brick edifice and a Tacoma wedding landmark for over 100 years. As a Portland wedding photographer, I am always excited to get out of my hometown and see what the greater Northwest has to offer. Just 20 minutes or so from Seattle, First Presbyterian Church of Tacoma was the recent host to a beautiful Tacoma wedding this past January. Dan and I drove North out of the crazy Portland snow storm into sunny skies and clear roads. 😉 Wedding photos at First Presbyterian Church Tacoma were really a joy to capture and definitely a new take on the “Traditional Church wedding”. The iconic walkway from the reception to the sanctuary is flanked by brick pillars and perfect location for bridal portraits.
My favorite spot for wedding photos at First Presbyterian Church in Tacoma was the window lit staircases. The creative photography options were numerous, I felt like I just scratched the surface. I definitely would love to shoot another wedding there in the future (not to mention the gorgeous park and arboretum across the street!) This Traditional church wedding in Tacoma was definitely a highlight of my winter. (not to mention Dan and I got to make a weekend of it 😉 I think I gained 5 lbs after visiting Pike Place Market. haha. Can’t wait to go back!
