Romantic Forest Park Engagement: Sean + Linda

Actions speak louder than words, and this is always self-evident when a guy is willing to do an engagement shoot with his fiancé. I grew up with 4 brothers and know for certain that getting photos taken really isn’t a “guy thing”. So when a manly man  puts himself out there, loves on his girl and goes the extra mile- I’m impressed. He’s really putting his money where his mouth is. 😉
That was the case in this Forest Park Engagement session. Sean loves this girl. Watching them through my viewfinder, getting comfortable together, watching the laughter between them- it’s not the movie-perfect, practiced kind of love- it’s the real in-the-moment love. That’s inspiring to me. Real love is built on the ordinary, every day moments of life, so seeing couples embrace that is beautiful.

Sean and Linda were both in the same tiny town in CA for work and while they only lived miles apart they never had the opportunity to meet. Sean was one of the hot military guys who didn’t have time to date around and Linda was busy at the hospital working odd hours  with little energy for the random dates people kept setting her up with. Through the encouragement of friends they took the fateful step…and signed up for Match.com.

After their first date, as many couples have noted, “when ya know, ya know!” Sean swept Linda off her feet and they’ve been in love ever since.

No road is without it’s bumps and curves. There are really hard times ahead and behind, but with a commitment to love and be loved — life is so worth living!

I am really looking forward to photographing your beautiful upcoming wedding at Resort at the Mountain– it’s going to be here before we know it. Enjoy the in-between 🙂

Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth. Even the all-powerful Pointing has no control about the blind texts it is an almost unorthographic life One day however a small line of blind text by the name of Lorem Ipsum decided to leave for the far World of Grammar. The Big Oxmox advised her not to do so, because there were thousands of bad Commas, wild Question Marks and devious Semikoli, but the Little Blind Text didn’t listen. She packed her seven versalia, put her initial into the belt and made herself on the way.

Christa is absolutely PHENOMENAL! My husband and I are beyond blessed to have had her capture our day! She was so great at directing people kindly and having fun too! She's a blast and we enjoyed the day more because of her! We loved getting to know her and she even had us to her home the week after our wedding for a brief photo shoot since the weather had been bad on the wedding day...she really went above and WAY beyond the call of a photographer and became our friend! She's the type we'd schedule a photo shoot with simply to see her and catch up!! Her baby is the cutest most joyful girl just like her momma! 💕There are not words to reccomend Christa highly enough! 💕We love you Christa!!
