What Lenses To Use For Family Portraits

When shooting families, I go big or go home. You need that long focal length to provide separation between your clients and the background.
I try to shoot 85mm or higher for beautiful, classic family portraits.

85mm 1.4 – 1/800 f2.2 ISO 320

85mm 1/1000 f2.2. ISO 320

85mm 1/800 f2.2. ISO 320

70-200mm, zoomed in to 200mm 1/320 f2.8 ISO500

70-200mm 1/500 f2.8 ISO500 – you can shoot wide open as long as all the subjects are on the same plain of focus.

El servo focus, tracking with moving subjects to keep them sharp. 70-200 1/320 f3.2 ISO500

Even the all-powerful Pointing has no control about the blind texts it is an almost unorthographic life One day however a small line of blind text by the name of Lorem Ipsum decided to leave for the far World of Grammar. The Big Oxmox advised her not to do so, because there were thousands of bad Commas, wild Question Marks and devious Semikoli, but the Little Blind Text didn’t listen. She packed her seven versalia, put her initial into the belt and made herself on the way.
