There are two photoshop tools that are extremely valuable in post-processing and I’m going to share them with you.
SLENDERIZE OR SLIMMING TECHNIQUE:
My go-to tool for creating a long body line, use with discretion 🙂

LIQUIFY:
This tool is ideal for chin tucks, or small areas that need a little slimming. It is more time-consuming, so I use it only when slimming doesn’t work on a specific area.

Just curious, how do you see this kind of technique fitting with the emphasis you put on helping women be joyful and confident with who they are & loving “curvy women?” But maybe I just misunderstand your thoughts on that or how you use these techniques.
I see it from this perspective: when you make a posing choice, certain body parts that are closer to the camera are going to look larger and less flattering. These tools are help compensate for certain angles and mistakes from posing/composition. There is always a give and take, and the camera is less forgiving than the human eye, which automatically offsets the disparity. I use this tool very sparingly, about 10% of my photos need some post-correction. I don’t feel this compromises my vision or my convictions in the least, I want to present a finished product that my client will feel is a beautiful representation of them, and even deeper, their soul. Granted, the trick is to get it right the first time, in camera, and that is always the goal 🙂
